I am Szilvia Vágó, a ceramic artist and designer, living and working in Budapest, Hungary.

These pages represent my notions about different themes of applied art: product design in personal ordered limited-serie sets accentuated on functionality; architectural design of environment; self-dependent artpieces; research experiments on glazes and materials; sketches of drawing, sculpturing and form studies.

Working mostly with ceramics and porcelain, using different exciting materials such as wood, metal, stone and glass separately or combining them, I prefer hand-made modelling and manually created shapes, that make the artpieces personal and unique.
